Salesforce Announces New AI-Powered Features for MuleSoft and Beta Availability of Einstein Copilot for Tableau
Salesforce, a leading CRM platform, has recently announced new AI-powered features for MuleSoft that are set to revolutionize data integration and workflow simplification within the Salesforce environment. One of the most exciting features is the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) capability, which allows for the rapid extraction and organization of data from documents such as PDFs and images.
The integration of IDP with Salesforce Flow enables seamless data transfer across Salesforce Clouds, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, and MuleSoft RPA, leading to increased cross-app insights, streamlined processes, and improved AI model training embedded within the Salesforce Einstein 1 Platform.
The IDP also comes equipped with ready-made templates for common tasks like handling purchase orders and reviewing invoices, reducing setup time and increasing efficiency. Additionally, the integration of Einstein AI with IDP allows for data extraction using natural language commands, eliminating the need for AI model training and making it easier for users to review AI-generated outputs for accuracy.
Vijay Pandiarajan, VP of Product Management at Salesforce, emphasizes the importance of empowering business users to participate in AI implementation, stating that with Einstein powering MuleSoft automation and integration products, every team across an organization can leverage AI to create seamless customer experiences.
While the IDP feature is set to be released in the third quarter of 2024, Salesforce has introduced several other features in MuleSoft that are available immediately. The Anypoint Code Builder now includes a new configuration panel for easier API development, and Einstein AI integration allows teams to create integration flows using written prompts.
Furthermore, MuleSoft Accelerators for Industries now offer use cases for retail, financial services, and healthcare, including de-identifying patient data for research and training AI models. The new “Observability with Anypoint Monitoring” solution provides developers with a centralized view to monitor API workloads incorporating AI.
In addition to the MuleSoft updates, Salesforce has also introduced the beta availability of Einstein Copilot for Tableau, aimed at enhancing data analysis for users in every role and function. The features of Copilot include Recommended Questions, Conversational Data Exploration, and Guided Calculation Creation, enabling users to uncover insights and create analytical views with ease.
The availability of Salesforce apps on the AWS marketplace in the UK further simplifies how AWS cloud customers can leverage and manage solutions such as Data Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Tableau, MuleSoft, and more. This move follows the recent availability of Salesforce products on the AWS marketplace in the US and other European countries, strengthening the partnership between Salesforce and AWS.
Overall, the new AI-powered features in MuleSoft and the availability of Salesforce products on the AWS marketplace showcase Salesforce’s commitment to innovation and simplifying data integration and workflow processes for organizations of all sizes. With these updates, Salesforce continues to empower businesses to harness the power of AI and create seamless customer experiences across all departments.
